“Our guide (Sara) was knowledgeable and we learnt a great deal. The boat trip was fun and we were able to appreciate the geology and biology of the area. The meal was enjoyable and we were able to learn about the conservation work of the fish farm. overall, a great experience. We didn't feel that the beach visit at the end was necessary and getting off the boat there was difficult. Not the fault of the tour providers but the toilets we encountered along the way were terrible!”

We received a n informative 5 minute spiel about monkeys and some excitement when watching fireflies but instruction and information otherwise. Feeding macaques so that they reliably turned up, to the point that they wandered amongst us on the boat felt like a practice we grew out of in the 1980's, understanding that it is not healthy and can lead to aggressive behaviour if not fed as expected. Not much effort went into finding proboscis monkeys... we returned to dinner…”
